Elizabeth Heath (pictured with member Sonia Glenn) chaired the committee for our Fight Human Trafficking Campaign in 2014-2015, which included sign-waving in different West Seattle neighborhoods to educate motorists and passersby about what we can do to fight human trafficking.

Past WSDW Chair Ann Martin (seated at table) and Current WSDW Chair Rachel Glass (foreground) attended the Wear Orange Event, which took place at Columbia Park in Seattle on June 2, 2018.  WSDW served as a Community Partner in collaboration with the West Seattle Chapter of Moms Demand Action.

Chair Rachel Glass and her daughter, Maia, took part in the Seattle 2018 Women's March with over 100,000 other marchers.

Past Chair Ann Martin and Current Chair Rachel Glass attended the Families Belong Together Rally (June 30, 2018) at the SeaTac Detention Center in protest of the Trump Administration's Zero-Tolerance policy leading to separation of immigrant and refugee children and their families.

Chair Rachel Glass has attended and/or participated in Seattle Pride since 2008.  In 2018, she and her daughter marched with our 7th Congressional District's rockstar Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal.  Rachel has worked actively with Team Pramila to elect Jayapal in 2016, as well as training with Jayapal to advocate for women, immigrants & refugees, youth, and GOTV efforts.

WSDW Chair and State Delegate Rachel Glass with State Senator Pramila Jayapal at the County Caucus in 2016.  Rachel worked with Pramila to help her get elected as our Congresswoman in the 7th District.
